It is easy to accidentally remove items from list when carrying in hand. Some small, additional measure to prevent this would be greatly appreciated. Swiping in a particular direction, as someone here has suggested, would be good.

Agreed. There are many times that my spouse will put something on the list, and I have to call her or I get the wrong item and find out later, because of lacking details. Product photo would mitigate any such issue and keep the description details down to a minimum.
