In other shopping lists they use a double tap, which is quick and fail-proof.

- long press takes too long, imagine ticking off 5 items with long presses...

- swipe from left to right could be an alternative (it would mimic the movement to strike out the item)

Either way, please change it, ticking off with a single tap is very "dangerous

Yes, I also like the simplicity of BmaP. However for me it would also be important to be able to sort the color-categories. Also 4-6 more colors would be appreciated.

Naming the color-categories would be a nice addition, but like Erica wrote, it would be nice if it would be optional whether to show those cat-names in the list or not.
