Use Siri to add items to the shopping list

Jure il y a 8 ans mis à jour par Buy Me a Pie! (Head of Customer Care Service) il y a 7 ans 3

Would be nice if you could tell Siri to add items to the default shopping list.

Category names and groups in item list (and custom categories)

Marcin Derewonko il y a 11 ans mis à jour par Marc Knuts il y a 11 ans 1
Add category names to colors (already a high voted item).
Also split item list into category groups with the name/color as the header of the group.
Allow ability to add custom categories/colors which would help to further customize individual Lists (i.e. it would result in sub lists within a list):
For example a Shopping List named General Shopping could contain items under groups such as Veggies, Drinks, etc and Automotive Shopping List could contain items under groups such as Maintenance, Performance and so on. Possibilities for this could render the software limitless!

Make finding commonly used items easier (sorting by times used)

Rudi Barani il y a 11 ans mis à jour par Buy Me a Pie! (Head of Customer Care Service) il y a 11 ans 3

The list of deleted items grows quickly and it's sometimes easier to retype common items like milk or eggs than select it from that list.

My suggestion would be to add a third listview sorted by the times an item was used (next to sorting all items alphabetically or by color).

I guess, I'd be able to add 90% of items I need just from the top of that list within seconds.

Please support editing items directly in the master list (product dictionary)

rowen il y a 11 ans mis à jour par Broco il y a 9 ans 2

At present it is too hard to edit the master list (product dictionary). One can only delete items or change their color. My main desire is that this be made much easier.

A closely related problem is that when I add a new item (not already in the product dictionary) I often find I make a mistake and want to change it (maybe I misspelled something, or left out an important word). That is the main reason I ever want to edit the master list.

Here are some thoughts on how these things could be improved.

- Link items between shopping lists and the master list: if one edits an item in a shopping list (changing the text) it also affects the corresponding item in the master list.

- In the master list, hold on an item to change its text. Existing copies in shopping lists would automatically be updated.

- In the master, add a triangle at the right or swipe right-to-left to bring up an edit pane. One could change the text or color in that pane.

Note my related suggestion to add a search field to the master list. I feel these are closely linked. If you implement the first suggestion then you could probably skip all the other suggestions.

The ability to move an item from one list to another.

Just Steve il y a 11 ans mis à jour par Henning il y a 11 ans 0
Having various lists is valuable. Sometimes, however, you need to move an item from one list to another. For example, you have a list of books you want to get at the library, another for books you want to buy. You get a book from the library and realize you want your own copy. While you can delete it from your Library list and retype it in your Bookstore list, it would be simpler to just move it from one to the other. Perhaps a "move to" function under the Edit menu.

Delete list confirmation dialogue

Cameron St Clair il y a 11 ans mis à jour par Terry Wilson il y a 9 ans 1
It is too easy to accidently erase an entire list, from the drop down menu attached to the list name. I suggest a simple "are you sure you want to delete this list" confirmation pop up dialogue.

Custom colorize list names

Erica Throne il y a 10 ans mis à jour par Marsha Kinsella il y a 5 ans 1
I'd like to have the ability to choose a colour for the titles of my lists. I'm behind the "more colours!" option, but especially if we can actually pick the colour of our lists' names.

import from CSV / other popular shopping list apps

Prasad Tiruvalluri il y a 11 ans 0
Import from other apps (outofmilk) etc., or atleast from a CSV so that I can start off with a monthly grocery list that I already have on an excel with 100 items rather than type everything again

Personal Buy Me a Pie account with private and shared lists

Duncan Sample il y a 11 ans mis à jour par Buy Me a Pie! (Head of Customer Care Service) il y a 10 ans 2
The ability to have a personal account containing shared lists would be great, so that we can share lists with different people, for example, a shopping list and delivery list with my partner, and a different shopping list for a friend/colleague.

Use black color font for number of items for easier reading

Richard Cramer il y a 11 ans mis à jour par JimW il y a 8 ans 1
On the android platform, the light blue color used for the number of items for a given item is difficult to see. Please change font color to black.
